Navigating
the Teacher
Toolbox
1. When training with your designated EPM, you will be given a link to navigate to Flashlight's Teacher Toolbox.
2. When you receive your link, you will be greeted with the Teacher Toolbox in your Google Drive. From here, there are seven folders in which we break up informative resources to help with your instruction using Flashlight360. Click above or keep scrolling to learn what you can find in each folder!
Standards & Alignments
3. Within the Standards & Alignments folder, you can find discover the ways that Flashlight360 correlates to the various ELD State Language assessments. Dive in to your respective state's ELD assessment to find helpful sample images, grades, goals, and indicators that the ELD standards align with in the product.
Rubrics & Indicators
4. Inside the Rubrics & Indicators folder, similar to the Standards & Alignments folders, you will see ways that the respective ELD assessments match Flashlight360's 5 Speaking Indicators and 3 Writing Indicators.
Below the indicators, you will also find a helpful rubric for each ELD type that matches our 1-5 scale (or 1-4 scale for TELPAS) and what each score means for that student. These Rubrics & Indicators can also be found in Spanish. These rubrics can serve as a helpful reference when Scoring an Assignment or Scoring a Benchmark, as well as a guide to inform your students of what these scores mean to them.
