Editing an Assignment for a Single Class or Group:
1. From your Teacher Dashboard, select the Edit icon on your chosen assignment.
-
If you choose to edit an individual copy of an assignment that was originally sent to multiple classes or groups, you will see a message asking you to confirm that you want to edit that copy only.
-
Selecting Yes, Edit This Copy will unlink that assignment from the other class copies. Any future changes made using Edit All Copies will not apply to this unlinked assignment.
- If you would like your changes to apply to all classes, be sure to edit the parent assignment instead.
-
2. When editing a single assignment, you may be able to update details such as the image, assignment title, prompts, and assignment date range.
If no students have interacted with the assignment yet, all of these details can be edited. Select the Pencil (Edit) Icon to edit the image, prompts, and/or assignment title.
However, once a student has interacted with the assignment, the image, title, and prompts will become locked. In this case, you can still update the assignment date range if needed.
3. After making your updates, select Edit Assignment to apply them to the assignment.
